A small but growing selection of interiors I’ve photographed.  It all started when in 2020, just as the pandemic started spreading I visited Hong Kong, where I had the opportunity to photograph the interior of a sisha bar’s new ceiling intervention. More recently, I photographed the newly refurbished reception building of Wysing Arts Centre. On interior photography shoots, I tend to get deep into tuning the framing to perfection, but not before a quick walk around for finding good angles and perspectives. 

Searching for the best spot is a free flowing, creative process, all about big shapes, blobs, colours, compositional balance, lights and shadow, but once I find perspectives I like, it all turns into eyeing parrallels, straight lines, making sure the camera is level, or that the image feels level... I guess until I am photographing a Zaha Hadid...
